Content of web service

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment is responsible for the Talent Boost website. In addition to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the Ministry of Education and Culture is responsible for the content of the website. The web service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

The front page contains basic information about the website, directions to content pages and high-lights from the latest news and columns. 

The Programme section explains the background, objective, measures and objectives of the Talent Boost programme.

The Measures section provides more detailed information on the measures under the Talent Boost programme that aim to attract talent, develop the permit procedures and legislation on aliens, and to strengthen the conditions for retention and growth.

The Actors section provides information on regional, national and international actors implementing the Talent Boost programme.

The News section highlights news and columns, frequently asked questions and other topical activities and projects related to the programme.
 

Functions

Search

The search function can be accessed via the website header.

By default, searches target the entire content of the site. The quick search function returns pages that include all of your search terms in the given language. The Boolean operator ‘AND’ is automatically added between the search words. You can also search using partial words.

If you have any questions or wish to submit feedback about the web service, please use the feedback form. All feedback will be processed during office hours and answered within two weeks of receipt. Remember to give your contact details. We can only give answers to your feedback and questions, if you have supplied your e-mail, or name and mailing address. The website uses responsive design, meaning that the content adapts to the device being used. The pages display best using the latest version of your browser. The website can also be viewed using earlier versions, but in this case you may not be able to use all of the features available.

File downloads and reader applications

You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read PDF files. The program can be downloaded free of charge.

The website also contains video recordings from a separate server and adaptable to the used device.
